The Ionic detox foot spa is a truly relaxing experience. Your feet soak in warm water whilst a very mild current is run through. The current ionises the water which draws toxins, dead skin cells and fat from your feet. The final product which floats to the surface of the water is quite unpleasant, but it is washed off and disposed of quite easily.
This is followed by a half hour foot, ankle and calf massage.
